Taming

The skill to catch and tame birds and animals.

To tame a pet, you need first to catch it with the active ability (press N to select) "To catch an animal or a bird". Usually, you might want to slow the animal with snares before attempting to catch it. A freshly caught animal has certain level of fear, which needs to be reduced by feeding it with vegetables or meat, depending on the type of the animal. When the fear is reduced to 0, the animal is considered fully tamed and you can equip it in the pet slot.

Both actions, catching the animal and feeding it, yield taming experience.
